For nearly four decades pastors have befriended Life Action. More than 6,000 pastors have hosted a Life Action event. Now we have the joy of returning that hospitality and blessing to God’s shepherds.
More than just an elegant getaway, The Lodge is a place for personal renewal and encouragement. To best accommodate your busy schedule and needs, we are currently offering two different retreats options for pastors. - Our five-day Pastors’ Retreat provides church leaders and their wives with an environment to draw close to God and to each other. Enter into a relaxing schedule designed to help you enjoy fellowship with God and others.
- The Romantic Reflections Marriage Retreat is a three-day marriage celebration for pastors and their wives. Our desire is to offer you a relaxing and refreshing retreat while highlighting the romantic side of your marriage.
Up to eight couples can stay at The Lodge at one time, which lends to both solitude and fellowship in an environment of luxurious accommodations, scrumptious cuisine, and nature at its finest. Each retreat begins with an afternoon check-in, followed by dinner at 6:00. The daily schedule begins with a light breakfast, followed by a late morning small group discussion and a 10:30 brunch. Afternoons are free for couples to spend at their leisure, either on site or in the surrounding community. Dinner is at 6:00, followed by an evening gathering. The retreat ends the last day at noon after brunch. A Pastors’ Retreat is a chance to spend time with God. We want to rekindle pastors’ love for Christ, His church, and their relationships. The cost includes meals, lodging, services, and the use of the facility. (We are grateful to our "Pastors' Partners Team" for their special donations enabling the cost for pastors to be significantly less than the actual value of the retreat.) If you cannot cover the full amount, you may benefit from our scholarship fund. ScholarshipsSince we believe that our ministry should not be limited to those who can afford it, various individuals and organizations have given donations to be used as scholarships for people in need. To apply for a financial scholarship for a Pastors’ Retreat, please complete the downloadable application and return it via fax or postal mail. The purpose of this application is to help us determine who to award scholarships to and in what amount.
